My Scientific Question: What is like to have blurry vision?
What I did: In this experiment, we used different types of goggles to see the different types of blurry vision. We used prism goggles, black spot goggles, and blurry googles. The prism googles distorts the way the light reaches the eyes. The black spotted goggles blocked certain parts. The blurry goggles were bluury and made everything relly, REALLY hard to see! With the prism goggles, we were throwing beanbags into a bucket. We first tested how many we scored without the googles. Then we threw the sandbags into the bucket with the prism goggles. With the black dotted goggles, we used a eye chart to see how many letters we could see/get correct. Then we used blurry goggles to do the eye testwith the chart.
What I learned: With the prism goggles, my score was, without a doubt, absolutely terrible! Without goggles I got 50% of the shots. But, with the prism goggles I got only10% of the shots! For the eye chart, my vision was 20/40 without goggles. With the blak spotted goggles, my vision was 20/30. For the blurry vision test, my vision was 20/70! I found that Sally’s vision wll be greatly affected and will affect how she does daily activities. How severe it is affected depends on how severely her vision is affected.
