my project

December 6, 2016By Chiem L.PM Group 2

My Scientific Question: Salt concentration on protozoans.

What I did: Add salt to protist colony in 6 tubes. Each tube has a different amount of salt concentration. After a week, I count the amount of living protozoa in each drop.

What I learned: The protist population gradually decreased in each tube until they all died in the 6th tube. The tubes with low salt concentration had an increase in population. While higher salinity tubes decrease in population. This data supports my hypothesis because my hypothesis was that the population of protist will decrease when the salinity of water gets higher
