My Scientific Question: Is Sally’s pee healthy?
What I did: We learned that normal urine is a clear yellow. Cloudiness could indicate the presence of bacteria. Glucose should be in pee, but a very little mount. We decided to perform a pH test,a glucose test, and a protien test. For the pH test of the patient urine, we dipped a pH strip into the sample. A pH sample of 7 is normal and common but normal pH can range between4.5 and 8. We got a pH between 5: and 6. That is pretty normal. On the glucose test we added a sample with glucose, and one without. Sally had little glucose. For the protein test, we pretty much did the same thing. One sample with protien and one without.
What I found:We found out that that Sally’s urine is healy and was a transparent yellow. She also had a good amount og protine, a pH level etween 5 and 6, and she has anout 1-2% glycerin in her urine (which is good).
